My roots
I am a lifelong Illinoisan from a close knit family of five sisters. We learned the importance of hard work, generosity, education, and justice from our parents, Michael and Virginia Blair. I'm a product of Illinois public schools and universities, holding a bachelor's degree from Illinois State and a master's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I love this state, and I am committed to doing everything possible to make Illinois a place we are all proud to call home.
